Island Beers

Just as gelato sampling throughout our Mediterranean travels was a hoot (see the "Italian Gelato Competition" post), so too was sampling island beers. Well, at least most of them were island beers. A few were from mainland Europe. Below is a partial list of the mostly local beers enjoyed throughout our Caribbean, Atlantic, and Mediterranean travels aboard Helios. There was no judging competition as with the Gelato, but beer #5 Brianda from the Azores Islands of Portugal was the definite favorite.
